We manufacture carry handles for a wide range of packaging— such as paper bags and carrier bags, cartons, wine boxes, sample books, gift presentation boxes and more.
Our carry handles are available in a wide range of materials, in over 100 colours, and in a range of widths and lengths. Cord, in particular, creates a high-quality impression and is more comfortable to carry when used with a carrier bag.
You can also choose whether the ends which hold the handle into the packaging - eg the box or carrier bag - are made of plastic or metal (metal ends are also known as 'barbs'. Jute and ribbon, however, are only available with metal ends.
What kind of end?
Handles need ends to set them into the packaging, or they would just pull out. Your options are to use hand-tied knots or plastic/metal ends/barbs. A single hand knot requires up to 50mm extra material; on one carrier bag, this could amount to 200mm. Fortunately, plastic or metal ends can considerably reduce the cost of materials and of wastage, as well as the extra labour cost of hand-tying. Depending on what you want to achieve, therefore, you’ll need to weigh up the ratio between the effect of the finished product and the cost.
Metal ends can be supplied in tinned steel, solid brass or brass-effect.
